Textmate color theme
Maybe you’ll like this nice color theme for Textmate:

I haven’t optimized this theme for Ruby on Rails. If someone feels the urge to contribute, please don’t hesitate.
It’s very pleasing to the eyes, yes? And colorful too. Ooooooooh, it’s such a pleasure to work in this warm and friendly environment.

This is a great start. I really hope you (or someone else) has a chance to add all the Rails stuff to this. Great work.

I really love how this looks here, but unfortunately on my display (when installed in TextMate) it doesn’t look so hot. I’ve got a MBP and I’ve calibrated the display. What display profile are you using?

Awesome looking theme. I don’t have a mac so I can’t use it in textmate, but I’ve used a couple of adaptations of it for vim, notepad++ and even mIRC.
Great job!

My favorite Textmate theme. I always switch back to it.

Ported this theme (roughly) to Emacs and Eclipse here: http://jaguilar.posterous.com/i-get-so-tired-of-searching-fo
I couldn’t perfectly replicate what you did with the parsing engines in those editors, but the feeling is similar.

I, and I’m sure others, would really appreciate a rails port of this theme. I looked around on google but could not find one, any help?

It’s beautiful. I love it. I’m using an adaption of it in VIM and I’ve moved almost exclusively to VIM to text editing just because of it. I’m gonna try to make something similar for a BASH terminal theme. Damn, pink was never so hot.

Just wasting some time on Digg and I found your entry. Not normally what I prefer to read about, but it was definitely worth my time. Thanks.

So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can’t resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”

I just adapted the monokai TextMate theme for Netbeans, some functions are different in both editor so I couldn’t make it works exactly equals, but it is similar to TextMate version.
